Library Management System

A production-ready Library Management System developed using the MERN Stack to digitize library operations through a secure administrative dashboard. The application enables administrators to manage books, categories, users, and library records while providing authentication, dashboard analytics, profile management, OTP-based password recovery, and Docker-powered deployment for a scalable production environment.

The Problem

Traditional library operations rely heavily on manual record keeping, making it difficult to manage books, users, issuing history, and inventory efficiently. The objective was to develop a centralized web application capable of securely managing the complete library workflow while improving administrative productivity and reducing manual effort.

    Auth & Data Modelling

    JWT authentication, email OTP password recovery via Nodemailer, Mongoose schemas for books, categories, users and library records.

    RESTful API Layer

    Express.js controllers on an MVC structure, validation, pagination and advanced search, documented with Swagger.

  3. Phase 03

    Admin Dashboard
